Long time no news from me here … I hope nobody thought I didn’t survive the Sushi-Night … or LAN LAN 3 (which was great, by the way)

Yesterday I’ve been to the Austrian Newcomer Awards in the Posthof. And, I have to admin, I was suprised how good bands we have in Austria. I’m wondering, why they do not have as much success as the german bands (such as Beatsteaks, Die Ärzte or Guano Apes)

I’m quite sure, bands like kontrust (they won the audience award), Jerx and Tripzoo have the power to play on big festivals in all over the world. And at the end of the evening Mauf, who actually didn’t won an award, played a short-gig - and were among the best of the evening.
