I’ve been a Windows user from start. My first computer was a Schneider EuroPC II, running MS DOS (I think 3.whatever). Later I used MS DOS 6.22, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000 and now Windows XP (and I am pretty satisfied with it).
I worked on a Mac during an internship which was running Mac OS 9 - and it was horrible. It hung up so often I seriously cursed it. Plus I hated the single-button-mouse.
Anyway, I’ve been waiting for Windows Vista/Longhorn since I heard from it and was pretty satisfied about the ideas. Now when it came out, I was pretty disappointed. The new look and some neat ideas make not clear, why this OS needs so much power.
Since the release of the Tiger, while the development process of vista, I’ve had an eye on the Mac OS. Yesterday apple released some features of the new OSX, named Leopard. I trust apple they will release the OS with all the features the announced now (other than Microsoft), so I think my next computer should be white and have some fruit on it.

Days went by and Paris Hilton is back in prison (and I repeat it: quite rightly).
Last weekend I was at a wedding (great party, thanks again Lucy and Meis) and yesterday we celebrated a well-working presentation a littlebit. Those two events made me decide to lower my alcohol consume. The novarock festival at the upcomming weekend will be my farewell party to intoxication. Hehe … sounds dramatic. Anyway, after Sunday I will try to limit myself to two beers per night. And I publish it here, so I will remember when I made my resolve. I’ll keep you updated on the results.
And my pal worufu has updated his weblog. Check it out.

I seriously don’t like this person. A friend of mine always breaks conversations about her, because “that’s what she wants”. She want people talking about her.
But the recent events make it impossible for me to ignore her. After being caught DUI twice she got sentenced to prison for 40 days, 23 days to spend there at least. Now, after 3 days, she is free again. Well, I guess some animals are more equal than others.

The movies of David Fincher are among my favourites. Especially Se7en and Fight Club. Panic Room was a littlebit of a disappointment, but still pretty good. He now took some years to do his new flick Zodiac. And he turned back to the serial killer story. But this time its more about fanatism than “usual” police work. Since the story bases on true events, we know they won’t catch the killer in the end, wich creates a strange thrill.
I’m not sure about Zodiac. Defenitely better than Panic Room, defenitely not as good as Fight Club. I’d give it 7 out of 10.
Upcomming news won’t be all about movies, I promise! There are some busy weekends comming up!
