I almost forgot to tell … last week I made it to the Restaurant in Dolphin Olympics - and haven’t played it since. So it looks like my addiction was only because I didn’t reach the highest goal … The trick is not to give up!
First make some horizontal jumps till you have around 20 “nice entries”.
Jump up, make some starslides till you reach “Ringer” (Saturn)
Go down to the water again (in a shallow angle, so you don’t hit the ground)
make a tailslide in a very, very shallow angle and jump away from it quckliy (you should go up very high)
take some starslides and quickly jump away from them
after “New Horizons” (a grey, small planet) there is one starslide you hit, when you are lucky; if you manage to slide it and jump from it, you should go up to the restaurant … piece of cake!

Last saturday I finally saw Juno … I haven’t been to the movies for a long time. And I can’t really remember when I’ve been to a Matinee the last time. Anyway this Saturday it was time for Juno, a movie I wanted to see the first time I spotted it on IMDB and the trailer on apple.com.
It’s a movie about a 16-year old girl (great: Ellen Page) who gets pregnant and has to deal with it. Sounds like a melodramatic movie, but it isn’t … by far not. Juno is a cursing, pubescent and … well, pregnant girl who has no idea what to do and what to expect. The appearance of Jennifer Garner made me feel a littlebit strange, but she fits perfect in the role of a rich Wannabe-mother.
I give it 9 out of 10 points.

Today I’m going to write about something from my company for the first time. Maybe I’ll do this more often in the future … should give more variety besides all the movies and technology posts …
Anyway our latest project was the Bannergarten: A website for one of our “departments”, Online-banner-production. Since our target group is in german-speaking countries, the whole website is in german. So for those of you who can speak german, have fun. For all the others: please come back soon for the next posting.

Some of you might already know these very nice TV-Ads by Volkswagen, but I want to put it here, because I think it’s funny as hell:

Yesterday I played Bezzerwizzer for the first time. It is a boardgame I got for my birthday (Thanks again!). The game is a bit like Trivial Pursuit, but with more categories (20) and extra rules.
Most important of all: Every team (can be only one player) drags a category from a bag and determines a value for the category. So every team has to decide what its favourite topics are. the higher the value, the more points the team gets for the correct answer. But be aware: The other teams can swap categories and so if you have your favourite category on a high value, you might get another category you don’t like on the same position.
There is also a “Bezzerwizzer-Chip” each team can use twice a round to challenge other teams in a category. If the callenged team doesn’t know the correct answer to a question the contending challenging team can earn extra points (or lose point, if it doesn’t know the answer either).
All in all the game is fun, though not as much fun as I thought first. But I think the fun raises, if the teams are more different in their knowledge than they were yesterday, because the challenges and swaps are more interesting then.
